We met at Encore beach club in Las Vegas during separate vacations with our friends. Thanks to our outgoing friends, we ended up spending the day together over a bowl of chicken tenders and overpriced tequila. Day one we even tackled our first argument of bleu cheese vs ranch on buffalo wings (agreed to disagree).

A few weeks and many FaceTime dates later, Gregory flew for his first visit from New Jersey to California and our love story took off.

We conquered the long distance with FaceTime, coast to coast visits and support from family and friends. Just as we were getting used to setting countdowns for our next visit, Covid hit. Although it interrupted some travel plans, we made the most of it and started spending months together splitting our time between the east and west coast.

Fast forward 1.5 years and we became homeowners in NJ with two loving kitties! It is safe to say this took some getting used to as a Californian.

Celebrating our 3 year anniversary in Maui, and our first “real” vacation, Gregory proposed on a private beach during the most beautiful sunset.
